Daypack V2 M Dyneema Leather

This Daypack V2 M uses ECCO's FSDX Dyneema®︎ Leather. Dyneema is bonded to 0.6mm cowhide leather, making it lightweight, strong, and water-repellent.

A fold-down bottle holder is located inside the bag, and the back has a removable pass-through and attached webbing for securing the bag to a suitcase handle.

The back panel now features a moisture-wicking mesh material. Layers of thick, lightweight polyester fiber within the mesh significantly enhance sweat-wicking and cushioning.

About the Materials

FSDX Dyneema® Leather, developed by ECCO, is an innovative hybrid material that integrates DCF (Dyneema® Composite Fabric) fibers into natural leather. It retains the inherent softness, texture, and beautiful patina of leather while combining them with Dyneema®’s extremely high tensile strength and lightweight properties. It is thin, highly resistant to abrasion and tearing, and maintains consistent strength even with repeated use. The surface features the unique character of natural leather, and the wrinkles, luster, and deepening color that develop with use vary from piece to piece. The DCF bonded to the reverse side is ultra-lightweight and offers 15 times the strength of steel, along with water resistance. When compared by weight and thickness, it offers the highest tear strength and tensile strength among comparable materials. The ultra-lightweight, waterproof DCF is used in a variety of environments where high performance is required.

Handling Instructions

DCF is a material that is susceptible to punctures but highly resistant to stretching. Prolonged contact with sharp objects in the same area or friction against protruding objects may cause the material to deteriorate. Additionally, the leather used in these bags may have scuffs, uneven textures, or minor scratches. Please understand that these are natural characteristics of the material. Leaving the leather wet for an extended period can damage it and lead to mold growth. Be sure to let it dry completely before storing it.
